Who would like to do yoga in what we think is the most beautiful and peaceful spot? My classes are starting back at the most spacious and calming St Mary’s Heritage centre this Wednesday 1st May 2pm and 6.45pm.
I run an afternoon class at 2pm – 3.15pm and an evening class at 6.45pm – 8.15pm.
I am delighted to offer you two very different sessions. Both perfect for yoga pros and newbies alike. The focus is to feel good. I am a relaxed, kind and approachable yoga teacher. It will be my pleasure to welcome you and listen to what you would like to get out of your yoga. Yoga can offer great pain relief for the body and a real lift for the mood. The classes will offer challenges for those that want it, easy options for those who want that.
A bit about me…
I have been a teacher of yoga for 9 years. I love taking yoga to different places and helping all people relax and feel good. I teach at here the beautiful, 900 year old St Mary’s Heritage Centre (next to The Sage) on Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and also at the Maggie’s Centre. I am an ex uni lecturer, a voice coach and would-be actor. I run regular retreats, yoga for running groups, inclusive small or private classes, yoga parties and lying down yoga concerts. Some Joining Instructions to help you:
We start our new yoga term on Wednesday 1st May 2019. Here is some information to help guide you in. Please complete a health registration form available by email, either email return or bring to the class on Wednesday.
There are 2 classes on a Wednesday 2-3.15pm and the 6.45-8.15pm. If you buy a block you can move between the 2 classes as it fits with your diary, as long as I have space. Buying a block of classes helps me plan for you in every way because I can then get to know you better and design the classes around your needs and hopes and know I can pay the rent! So thank you.
We will be practicing Hatha yoga and learning different interesting meditation techniques, building our core strength, learning to breathe well for more energy and to move well and use good posture, strengthening our bodies, easing our joint mobility and removing tension and stiffness, as well as having fun in a stunning place with lovely people. We will be practicing asana to balance and strengthen, pranayama to calm and rejuvenate and self care with time to really relax and switch off. Yoga to help you on your Journey in life from your cellular functions to your peace and enjoyment!
Social side: There is a honesty box tea trolley in St Mary’s and you can arrive before hand, meet others and get changed etc. Wednesday afternoon lot often go for a cuppa afterwards either in St Mary’s or at the Sage. They welcome all if you have time.
